Safe, damage-free transport for any vehicle. Loaded on a flatbed, not dragged.
Call (801) 396-8259Not every tow job is the same. If you’ve got a low-clearance sports car, an all-wheel-drive SUV, or a vehicle that’s been in an accident and can barely roll, dragging it behind a regular tow truck isn’t the move. That’s where flatbed towing comes in.
A flatbed keeps all four wheels off the ground. Your car rides on top of the truck like it’s on a platform. No dragging, no scraping, no extra wear on your drivetrain. It’s the safest way to move a vehicle, period.
Some situations just call for it:
Pretty straightforward, honestly. We show up, hydraulically tilt the bed down to ground level, and either drive your vehicle up or winch it on if it can’t move under its own power. We strap everything down tight with wheel straps, and your car doesn’t move an inch until we unload it at the destination.
The whole process takes about 15 to 20 minutes once we’re on scene. We’re careful, but we’re not slow about it either — especially if you’re blocking traffic on 4700 South during rush hour.
This isn’t our first rodeo. We’ve flatbedded everything from brand-new Teslas to beat-up farm trucks that haven’t run in years. Every vehicle gets secured properly. We use soft straps on nice wheels, protect bumpers during loading, and make sure nothing touches the ground that shouldn’t.
Our drivers actually care about your car. That might sound like a sales pitch, but spend five minutes watching one of our guys carefully position wheel straps on a customer’s Audi and you’ll see what I mean. Nobody’s kicking tires and rushing through it.
A lot of flatbed calls around here come from winter driving situations. Someone slides off Bangerter in the snow, or a car gets stuck on an icy hill in one of the neighborhoods west of Redwood Road. Regular tow trucks can handle some of that, but when the car’s in a ditch at a weird angle or the front end is smashed, you need a flatbed.
Summer’s got its own problems too. Overheated engine on I-15 in July? If there’s coolant everywhere and the car needs to go to a shop, we’ll flatbed it so we’re not making anything worse.
We’re available around the clock at (801) 396-8259. Tell us what you’re working with — the vehicle type, where you are, what happened — and we’ll send the right truck. If you’re not sure whether you need a flatbed or a regular tow, don’t sweat it. That’s our call to make, and we’ll always use whatever’s safest for your vehicle.
We also handle heavy duty towing for bigger rigs and emergency towing when time is critical. Whatever the situation, give us a ring.
